My Bucket List

Everyone can dream, no matter how big their dreams are. And as human beings, we have to admit that there are many things we wish to do or fulfill in our lives. Many people judge others just because their dreams are too impossible, or big. But what's wrong of dreaming? Isn't that life is all about? Doing things we wish to do and living our lives to the fullest without caring about others' opinions / judgments? Because our lives matter, and if we pay too much attention on what people say, we will end up waiting forever.

In this page section, I'm gonna list down all of the things that I wish to do before I die, or in a shorter term, my Bucket List. I don't mean to brag about my achievements in life though, this is just a reminder for me that I have goals to fulfill in this world, and this list is a guide for me to achieve those. I don't mean that I am a hundred percent sure that I will check off all of these, but like I said, I will dream big, as big as I want my dreams to be. Hehehehe. And I share this because I wish I could inspire all of you to live your lives to the fullest and to make yourself happy.

Things To Do Before I Die / My Bucket List

1. Skydiving at Dubai

I dare to say that this is one of my biggest dreams, and honestly, I am super scared of height. I'm even afraid to be travelling by airplanes. I know it's gonna be a little bit extreme for me to some extends, but I know, that in order to defeat your biggest fear, you need to do things that let you face the fear itself. I hope I'm lucky enough to be able to fulfil this one.

2. Visit all Disneylands and Disneysea (Progress : 1/6 - 2014)

I've been dreaming of Disney since forever, and I'm glad to be one of those who grew up with Disney. I finally could step foot into one of the Disneylands which is in Paris. I was being really emotional during my visit, because I've been dreaming about it for my whole life. I still have 5 more Disneylands to visit, which are : Disneyland in California, Disney world in Florida, Disneyland Hongkong, Tokyo Disneyland, and the magical Tokyo DisneySea. Nobody is too old for Disney hahahhaa.

3. Set foot in all Harry Potter Lands
I am one of those lucky kids who grew up with Harry Potter as well. Well, who doesn't want this. If I can't make it to Hollywood, at least I should be able to take a selfie with the sign. Hahahaha.

8. Create my own business empire
It's not a huge business that I mean here, but I always dream of selling something that I create by myself. And if you are following me on instagram, you'll know how much I love to create stickers to spice up my planner. And as a planner girl, I have a dream of sharing my hobbies with other planner fellows accross the globe. Maybe some people might think that it's useless to sell such thing as stickers, or it's merely a hobby. But for me, that's where the fun is, when you could do your hobbies and earn money at the same time.

9. Attend a planner conference
Still about planning. I plan to attend a planner conference that is held yearly by those senior planners accross the globe who I totally look up to. The Geaux Wild conference just passed last week, and I only could stalk them through Instagram to see how fun the planjama party was, and how cool to meet famous planners like Erin Condren, Jen , Krissyanne, and may more. Geez I wanna go there so bad, this is certainly gonna be on my list!

10. Visit Rome and meet the gladiator (checked 2014)

Rome has been one of the places on earth that I want to visit the most. I am always curious about the gladiators who fought for their lives in the amphitheatre (Colloseum) and I really wanted to experience the feeling of stepping into the teathre of death.
And finally in 2014, my dream came true. I visited Colloseum and it was one of the most unforgetable moments in my life. Not because I was too happy, but on the contrary, I could feel how sad that place was, especially with the underground exposed. I joined a short tour in the amphitheatre and I would like to share a little bit of what I learned. The underground was the place where the gladiators were kept, waiting for their freedom by defeating the other gladiators. Well, they could either went home, or died in the arena, watched by millions of people in that era. It is said that there were 3 sessions of show in a day. In the morning, people could watch the gladiators packed with weapons, fighting with the super hungry, fierce animals. While the second session which was in the afternoon, people could watch the gladiators who were left to die. They were packed with nothing, and they should face the hungry animals. It was like feeding the animals, and nobody could come out alive. And for the last session, it was a battle between two gladiators, and this show had got the most audiences. The stage was purposely covered with sand, in order to give more effects to the bloods that spilled from the dying gladiators. So, you can imagine how it was like to stand there, looking at a place with such a history.
Even though it's totally impossible to meet a gladiator, but I accidentaly met a cosplayer and he was so fun. I wish to be back again someday.

Even though I'm not a Chatolic, but St. Peter's Basilica has been one of my top destinations. I always think that this place holds so many unexposed secrets and it would be so wonderful to be there. In 2014 during my Europe trip, I couldn't wait to step my foot inside this wonderful place, and indeed, it was totally worth it. I'm one of those people out there who have been dreaming about Paris. And I myself have been dreaming about Paris for my whole life. I always wonder how it feels like to be on top of Eiffel Tower, and to witness the beauty of the city from the top of one of the seven wonders. And in Summer 2014, I finally set my feet in Paris. I could hardly believe that, and my grateful feeling can't even be depicted into words.

It was a longggggg queue by the way, I guess everyone there was super excited to climb to the top. But as soon as I stepped into the lift, I suddenly realized that it's gonna be a super long ride. And the higher the lift went, the stronger the wind blowed. And the wind, well, it was super cold for Summer. Seriously, one minute felt like eternity, especially to someone who is so afraid of height like me. I wonder why the people inside were so so so and so excited and I was standing there, being so quiet. I dare to bet that my face was so pale, especially with the lift packed with so many people. I even regretted being there, and I thought that I should just waited on the ground and let my bf and mom to go up.

Finally the more-or-less-15-minutes-trip was over and we reached the top. When I stepped out of the lift, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was looking at the most breathtaking view I have ever seen.. The city of Paris was covered with white buildings, and it was so unique. By then I was so inspired by my experience, I finally understood that the journey to the top might be tedious and hard, and you might feel like giving up along the way. But if you keep on going, the result will be worth it. Well,  I honestly wouldn't mind to spend days on top of the Eiffel, it was such an amazing experience and I'm so thankful for that.

Anddddd, I kinda dreamed of kissing under the Eiffel Tower too, wellllll...

you can say that the dream kinda came true, hehee <3

52. Explore Basilica Cistern
Greek Mythology has been such a huge interest for me since years ago, and out of all the Gods/Goddess, I love Medusa instead, despite the fact that she was actually a monster, or in other word, Gorgon. Even though there are a lot of versions of her history, the late version of it actually described her as a young beautiful maiden who was cursed to be a Gorgon.

When my elder brother visited Medusa Cave (Basilica Cistern) in Istanbul in 2014, I had decided that the cave is gonna be in my travel list, especially when he told me about his experience in that cave which was haunting and unusual.

83. Visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace in South Korea
As we all know, in Seoul South Korea, there are 5 grand palaces which are super famous such as : Gyeongbokgung Palace , Changyeonggung Palace, Unhyeongung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, and Changdeokgung Palace. But from all those, I wanna visit Gyeongbokgung Palace the most. It is well known as a film shooting location for many famous Korean dramas. I wanna put on a Hanbok during my visit there. <3
